The Guren Gallery at the Cleveland Botanical Garden will be the site of Jane Small’s first Cleveland solo show, “Fairy Tales: A Floral Fantasy,” on display August 29 through October 31, with an after-hours opening event August 29th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Jane, as well as some of the featured artists who have work on display at the garden, enjoy music and small bites on the Geis Terrace, and celebrate the Japanese Garden’s 50th Anniversary.
Jane Small said, “Having my first solo show in the city at the Cleveland Botanical Garden is very special to me…almost a full circle moment. I visited there with my parents, who were avid gardeners, 33 years ago when I first moved to the city. My late father especially fell in love with the place and visited many, many times over the years. He’s the one who sparked both my interest in gardening and photography, so to have the chance to show my flower photographs there is truly incredible.”
The opening event is free for members, $20 for non-members. Registration is required at holdenfg.org/programs-and-events.
